A Morning in the Meadow

We warmly invite you to join us for a Morning in the Meadow, a gentle and welcoming Early Childhood and Kindergarten open house at The Waldorf School of St. Louis.

This morning is meant to be unhurried and open, giving you the freedom to arrive when it works for you, stay as long as you’d like, and simply be present. Rather than a formal tour or presentation, Morning in the Meadow offers a chance to experience what a Waldorf morning feels like—the warmth, rhythm, and care that shape our Early Childhood and Kindergarten program.

As school carries on, you’ll be welcomed into the meadow, where a fire will be going and light refreshments will be available. From there, you’ll have time to connect naturally with teachers, current parents, and our admissions team, ask questions, and learn more about our Early Childhood and Kindergarten programs. You may also observe outdoor circle time and snack, and step into a classroom to get a sense of the learning spaces your child would grow into.

This morning is designed to give you space to slow down, take it in, and notice how the environment feels—to imagine your family here, and to sense whether this community feels like the right fit for you and your child. This is a Child-free event (babes in arms welcome). Registration encouraged.
